A phased expansion for Duke Health included a new addition with behavioral health emergency, inpatient, and outpatient units, alongside expansion and renovation of the existing emergency department.

Project Highlights

• An expanded emergency department with 42 treatment rooms.
• Behavioral health flex treatment rooms and dedicated pediatric and adult areas.
• Demolition and partial renovation of existing spaces adjacent to the addition.
